Feature Update - Redesigned side menu

We’ve redesigned the system menu to make it simpler, faster, and more intuitive so you can get things done with fewer clicks.

 

The menu is now organized into clear tabs, and we’ve updated some terminology to better match how you use the system:

 

FOR SHIPPERS:

 

Shipper TMS (new tab) - Book and manage transport in one place

  • Use the New Request button to book transport, either by requesting a quote or selecting a contracted lane.
  • Contracted Lanes – Previously called Lanes.
  • Spot Quotes – Replaces Requests for quick, one-off quotes.

 

 

To create a new contracted lane using the Managed Transportation service, use the same “New Request” button and select “Create a Contracted Lane.”

What’s Staying the Same

  • Booking: You can continue booking transport through spot quotes or contracted lanes, with the same process you're already familiar with.
  • Home: Your starting point for new feature updates, upcoming traffic schedules, CtrlChain news, and more.

  • Dashboard: A familiar overview of your quotes and orders.
  • Release Notes: Check out the latest system updates.

  • Address Book: Manage your locations with the same setup as before.

 

 

FOR CARRIERS:

Carrier TMS (new tab)

Manage your orders and bids

  • The previous Tenders tab has been split into two:
  • Spot Bids– formerly known as Adhoc
  • RFP Bids– formerly known as Lane
From now on, you bid for spot opportunities in Spot Bids, and for lanes in RFP Bids.

Enterprise (new tab)

Manage users and group settings

Also includes Fleet, Corridors, and Tracking, which have been moved here for better organization

 

What’s Staying the Same

  • Home: Your starting point for new feature updates, upcoming traffic schedules, CtrlChain news, and more.

  • Dashboard: A quick overview of your missing order actions, just like you're used to.

  • Taskboard: View and manage all your assigned tasks in one place.

  • Release Notes: View the latest system updates.
  • Address Book: Manage your locations with the same setup as before.

 

 

While the layout has changed, everything you need is still here, just more organized and easier to use.
