A company’s values only matter if they influence decisions

At CtrlChain, our values are not internal slogans. They are the blueprint for how we build. Logistics is complex and time sensitive, which means high level ideals only matter if they result in better tools for our customers.

Challenges in this industry are structural. In Europe, more than 80% of road freight companies operate fewer than 10 trucks, according to the European Commission. At the same time, around 20–25% of truck kilometres are driven empty, based on data from Eurostat.

Fragmentation and underutilisation are not exceptions. And it’s why we believe that for a value to be real, it has to solve a structural problem.

We are go-getters

Logistics does not wait. Being go-getters means tackling the root causes that the industry has accepted as "normal" for decades.

From fragmented communication to manual processes, empty kilometres and limited visibility. We measure our progress by the friction we remove:

    • One operational environment that replaces a dozen disconnected tools.
    • Real-time visibility instead of reactive updates, calls, emails and delays in transport
    • Structured workflows instead of scattered spreadsheets and platforms

Our Progress is not theoretical, we see it in fewer manual handovers, faster decision making, and better utilisation of resources.

We are respectful

Logistics involves different perspectives: shippers, carriers, planners, drivers, operations teams. Each has its own pressures and priorities.

Respect means building a system that works for all parties, not just one side of the chain.

  • For shippers, that means oversight, control, and data clarity.
  • For carriers, it means clear requirements, visible opportunities, and transparent communication.

End-to-end visibility remains one of the top strategic priorities in supply chain management, yet many organisations still struggle to achieve it, according to research by Gartner. That gap affects every stakeholder in the chain.

We have fun

Solving global supply chain issues is heavy work. Logistics is demanding. Deadlines are tight. Margins are narrow. Pressure is constant.

We believe that the best solutions come from a culture of radical collaboration. When our product team sits with operations, they aren't just discussing features; they are testing the real problems our customers and carriers face to see how they can be solved.strong teams perform better when they enjoy working together. Internally, that mindset creates energy and ownership. Externally, it translates into collaboration that feels constructive, not transactional.

We test our ideas against the daily reality of a driver with a sight delivery window or a complex route. In product terms, this means building systems that reduce friction. When operations run smoothly, efficiency creates space for collaboration, and collaboration strengthens the overall performance. Research into digital supply chain transformation shows that connected and collaborative supply chains outperform fragmented ones in both cost control and service levels.

Performance and positive collaboration are not opposites they reinforce each other.

We are trustworthy

Trust is the currency of logistics. In our industry, people depend on shipments that arrive on time, data that is accurate, and commitments that are kept.

Trust in our system is built through:

    • Reliable data and shared visibility, so what you see on the screen matched what is happening on the road.
    • Clear and structured communication workflow that removes email threads or innecesary phone calls.
    • Responsible handling of operational information to keep the entire supply chain secure.

We do not position ourselves as an additional layer between partners. Instead, we provide a shared backbone where information is transparent and aligned.

This trust extends into how we work: We stay involved after implementation, responding when challenges arise and communicating openly about what works and what needs improvement.

These are the values that guide our product decisions

Our values influence how we prioritise features, how we respond to feedback, and how we grow the system.

Logistics will always be complex. Our role is not to oversimplify it, but to provide the structure it needs to thrive. At CtrlChain, our values are not separate from the product. They define how it is built and how it performs in daily operations.
